Watson’s – Men Winterwear Double Layer Review

Product Review of the Watson’s Men Double Layer Long Sleeve Crew and Double Layer Long John Winterwear.

Its that time of year, the temps are getting bitter cold, the deer are running all over the place and we are spending every chance we get sitting outside freezing our own tails off.  For the ones without the passion we have, they would call us crazy for sitting in these cold temps.  But most of them don’t realize that with the proper gear, these freezing temps don’t bother us and we actually prefer it.

I always love trying out new cold weather gear and was excited when I was offered the chance to review the Watson’s Men Double Layer Long Sleeve Crew and Double Layer Long John Winterwear.  I pride myself in being able to withstand the worst days up in a tree but I know I can’t do it on my own.

A quality base layer is a key component in dressing for cold days outdoors.  That’s what’s on your skin and it needs to stay dry, able to breathe, stay warm and of course feel comfortable in the process.  The Watson’s Men Double Layer Winterwear fit all those criteria and fit great also.  I used them on warmer 40 degree days with just those and thin pants and a jacket over and felt very comfortable all evening in the tree while still being able to walk in and out of the woods while staying dry.  I also used them on windy 15 degree mornings in the tree with added layers and heavy winter gear over.  I stayed dry during the walk in which helped me maintain my warmth all during the hunt.  The part that I like the best about the Watson’s Men Double Layer Winterwear was the comfort and fit even after multiple washes.  Most base layer long john gear I have doesn’t always want to stay where it needs to or gets itchy after a few washes.  The Watson’s Men Double Layer Winterwear always stays where it’s supposed to and still feels soft and comfortable after multiple uses and washes.

With most product reviews, there are plenty of pics of us using the product.  Well, its not going to happen this time.  I won’t put you threw the traumatic torture of seeing me in my Watson’s Men Double Layer Winterwear so you can look at the pics off their website.

In conclusion, I am very happy with the results I get wearing these in cool temps to the “are you crazy” cold temps.  I know they will be on with my next hunt coming up.

You can find the Watson’s Men Double Layer Winterwear and all of their other cold weather and performance gear for men, women and the kids at their website www.mywatsons.ca

OK, fine. Here’s me wearing the Watson’s Winterwear
